Approved Document E Building Regulations testing and air tightness testing typically requires just one visit to site. Large sites might need a second visit. In order to undertake testing buildings must be completed but without floor coverings. Sites should have 240V or 110V ready to use.
Noise at work assessments and reports are also carried out region wide and would normally involve just one site visit. Additional visits are rare however, very large sites may require this so that all of the critical noise data can be recorded. The volume of the operation is not the only significant factor, the number of different types of staff and different types and location of noise generating items will also alter the time it takes to gather the information required to undertake the assessment.
